  1. Our recent paper written by Hui Ma et al"A programmable microvalve-based microfluidic array for characterization of neurotoxin-induced responses of individual C. elegans" has been published in Biomicrofluidics. (Research Highlight).
  2. Our recent paper written by Yu Zhang et al “A microfluidic DNA computing processor for gene expression analysis and gene drug synthesis” has been published in Biomicrofluidics (Research Highlight).
  3. The conference of APCE 2009 & APLOC 2009 was closed successfully.
  4. The special issue “Miniaturization in Asia Pacific” (Volume 30 Issue 18, 2009) of "ELECTROPHORESIS" edited by Prof. Bingcheng Lin and Prof. Jianhua Qin was published.
  5. Conggratulations to Dr. Weiwei Shi, who won the 2009 DICP-Corning scholarship.
  6. The article "Microvalve based precise control of individual droplets in microfluidic devices” was amongst the top ten accessed on the web of "Lab on a Chip".
  7. Professor Jianhua Qin was appointed as a new member of the "Biomicrofluidics" Editorial Board.
  8. Our work "Droplet-based microfluidic system for individual Caenorhabditis elegans assay”was again amongst the top ten accessed on the web of "Lab on a Chip" in October.  This work has been amongst the top ten accessed for successive three months.
  9. Professor Bingcheng Lin was appointed as a new member of the "lab on a Chip" Editorial Board.
