Dr. Jianhua Qin is currently a professor at Dalian Institute
of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and
group leader of microfluidic research group in DICP. Dr. Qin
obtained B.S from China Medical University, M.D from Dalian
Medical University, and Ph.D from Dalian Institute of
Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was
postdoctoral fellow in the University of Toronto, Canada. She
was a visiting scholar in the University of Hong Kong (HKU),
Mary hospital of HKU, and the University of Toronto. Dr. Qin
was the author of more than 50 peer-reviewed articles, 5
book chapters and 5 invited reviews in the area of
microfluidics. She was the co-author of book
“Microfluidic-based Laboratory on a Chip” and
“Illustration of Microfluidic-based Laboratory on a Chip”. She serves as the editorial
member for the journal of “ELECTROPHORESIS” and “BIOMICROFLUIDICS”.
She is also the co-editor of yearly special issue
“Miniaturization in Asia Pacific” of ELECTROPHORESIS. Dr. Qin’s research is focused on the investigation of
microfluidics technology and its applications in the area of
biomedical sciences.
